In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful. May Allah, the Exalted, send blessings and peace upon our Master Muhammad, his family and his companions. O Allah! By the rank that Your Prophet, our Master Muhammad (peace be upon him) has with You, by the love You have for him and he has for You, and by the secret between You and him, I ask You to send blessings and peace upon him, his family and his companions. Increase my love for him many times over. For his sake and his lofty stations, make me truly know him. Grant me success in following his way, living his manners and his sunnah. Grant me resolve in this. Honor me by allowing me to see the Messenger (peace be upon him). Gladden me by letting me converse with him. Remove difficulties, barriers, intermediaries and veils. Let my ears partake of his sweet address. Allow me to benefit from the knowledge and gnosis of the Messenger (peace be upon him), O Allah!... Make my prayers upon him a complete, pure, radiant light that erases every injustice, darkness, doubt, shirk, disbelief, falsehood and sin. Make that salat a cause for my purification. Through these blessings, raise me to the summit of the station of sincerity, so that no doubt remains in me that any worship is due to any besides You. Thus may I be worthy of Your presence and be joined among Your close friends. Grant that I do all this while always holding fast to the manners and sunnah of the Messenger (peace be upon him), seeking help from his noble person. O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest! O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest! O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest!
O Allah! Send blessings upon Your servant, Your Messenger, the unlettered Prophet—our master Muhammad—and upon his household.
O Allah! Send upon our master Muhammad and his household the blessing that secures Your good pleasure as a reward for him. Grant him the station of al-Wasila, the Praiseworthy Station You promised, and virtue. Reward him on our behalf with the best reward You have granted any prophet on behalf of his people and any messenger on behalf of his ummah, according to what he deserves. O Most Merciful of the merciful! Send blessings also upon all his brothers among the prophets and the righteous.
O Allah! Bestow upon our master Muhammad—leader of good, opener of blessing, Prophet of mercy and master of this ummah, the Messenger of Allah, Lord of the worlds, and master of the messengers—the most virtuous of Your prayers, the noblest of ever-increasing benefits, the greatest of blessings, the acts of kindness that flow from Your mercy, compassion and generosity, and the most excellent of favors.
O Allah! Bring him to the Praiseworthy Station that the first and the last will envy, a station that will please him and increase his nearness to You.
O Allah! Grant our master Muhammad the bounty, the virtue, the honor, the station of al-Wasila which is the highest place in Paradise, and the loftiest of degrees and stations.
O Allah! Grant our master Muhammad the station of al-Wasila, fulfill his hopes, and make him the first to intercede and the first whose intercession is accepted.
O Allah! Magnify the proofs that point to his prophethood. Make his scale heavy. Make his proof radiant. Raise his rank among the people of the lofty stations where the near angels, the prophets, martyrs, saints and scholars gather in the seventh heaven. Elevate his station above even the station of the near ones.
O Allah! Give us life by his Sunnah. Cause us to die living upon his religion. Make us among those who attain his intercession. Gather us in his community. Bring us to the Kawthar basin. Let us drink from its cups without our faults being exposed. Without regret, without doubt, without any change or trial for or against us, give us to drink the Kawthar drink with its cups. O Allah, Lord of the worlds.
O Allah! Grant our master Muhammad and his household the station of al-Wasila, virtue and the high rank. Bring him, together with his brothers among the prophets, to the Praiseworthy Station You promised him. O Allah! Upon the master of this ummah and Prophet of mercy—our master Muhammad—upon our father Adam, our mother Eve, and upon the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous who came from them; upon all the angels of earth and sky; and upon us together—send blessings. O Most Merciful of the merciful!
O Allah! Forgive me, my sins, and my parents. O Allah! Show mercy to my parents as they raised me when I was small. Forgive all male and female believers, all male and female Muslims, their dead and their living. Aid us in showing care for one another, avoiding enmity, and praying for each other. My Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me; You are the best of the merciful. Power and might belong only to Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
O Allah! Upon the light of lights, the secret of secrets, the master of the most truthful and best servants in the station of the righteous; the adornment of noble messengers; the most generous of those upon whom night casts its darkness and day sheds its light—our master Muhammad—send blessings by the number of raindrops that have fallen from the first moment of the world to its last, by the number of plants and all that grows on trees, blessings that endure as long as the dominion of the One, the Subduer endures.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad in this world—his Pure Garden—and in the Hereafter—his abode in the Highest Firdaws—send blessings that will ennoble and magnify his station, and on the Day of Resurrection grant him what he desires and will be pleased with.
O our master Muhammad! This prayer is to honor your right which is obligatory upon us. O our master Muhammad! This prayer is to honor your right which is obligatory upon us. O our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! This prayer is to honor your right which is obligatory upon us.
O Allah! Upon the one indicated by the letters Ha (mercy), two Mims (sovereignty), and Dal (refuge of all creation)—M-u-Ha-m-M-e-D—lordly master possessing every virtue, perfect, whose light was the first created, a mercy to the worlds and seal of prophethood—our master Muhammad—send blessings as numerous as those in Your knowledge, for as long as those who remember You and him remember, and those heedless of Your and his remembrance are heedless, and for as long as Your exalted Essence endures eternally. Such blessings will end only if You judge them sufficient. Truly, You are Powerful over all things.
O Allah! Upon the most beautiful and most luminous of the suns of guidance—the unlettered Prophet, our master Muhammad—and upon his household, send blessings. For our master Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the most renowned and most praiseworthy among the prophets regarding the news of his prophethood; his light is brighter, more honored and clearer than all prophets; in character he is the purest and most immaculate of them; in his created form he is the most noble and soundest of them.
O Allah! Upon our master, the unlettered Prophet Muhammad, whose beauty surpasses the full moon and whose generosity exceeds rain clouds and the waters of the oceans—and upon his household—send blessings.
O Allah! Upon our master, the unlettered Prophet Muhammad—whose very essence and life are the embodiment of blessing, whose remembrance and fragrance delight every created being—and upon his household, send blessings.
O Allah! Send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! As You sent blessings, mercy and blessing upon our master Abraham and his household, send blessings, mercy and blessing upon our master Muhammad and his household. Truly, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
O Allah! Send blessings upon Your servant, Your Prophet, Your Messenger, the unlettered Prophet—our master Muhammad—and upon his household.
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household to the fullness of this world and the Hereafter. Bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household to the fullness of this world and the Hereafter. Bestow mercy upon our master Muhammad and his household to the fullness of this world and the Hereafter. Send peace upon our master Muhammad and his household to the fullness of this world and the Hereafter.
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad in the way You commanded us to send them; send blessings upon our master Muhammad in the manner most fitting for sending them.
O Allah! Send prayers upon Your Prophet chosen from among all prophets, Your Messenger with whom You are pleased from among all servants, Your friend chosen from the noblest of creation from Adam (peace be upon him) until he was brought to the realm of existence, the trustworthy one regarding heavenly revelation—our master Muhammad.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad—whom You brought forth from the pure loins of the most noble forefathers and the pure wombs of the most honorable mothers, from the line of Abd Manaf son of Abd al-Muttalib; by whom You guided those who opposed Islam and opened the way of chastity; whom You chose from that noble lineage—send blessings.
O Allah! By the most excellent of what is asked of You, by the most beloved and honored of Your names, by the blessings You granted us through our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), by how through him You protected us from misguidance, and by the fact that You commanded us to send blessings upon him— which You accept as a station for us in this world and the Hereafter, and as a grace from You forgiving our sins—by honoring Your command and believing with all our hearts that You fulfill what You promise, we implore You. O our Lord! When we believed in him and affirmed him at the Covenant of Alast, when we followed the Qur’an You sent down to him—remembering Your words: “Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace”—You made sending blessings upon him obligatory for Your servants. You commanded them to do so. O our Lord! By the sanctity of Your exalted Essence, by the light of Your majesty and what You have made obligatory upon those of the station of bestowal, we ask You to send upon Your servant, Your Messenger, Your Prophet, the best of Your creation, the noble master Muhammad—the most excellent of all the prayers You send upon any of Your creation—with Your blessings and the blessings of all Your angels. Truly, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
O Allah! Raise the rank of our master Muhammad. Exalt his station. Make his scale heavy on the Day of Resurrection. Make his proof radiant, his religion always manifest, his reward abundant, his light shining. Keep his honor enduring in both worlds. And join with him his progeny and noble Household who gladden his eye. Make him great among the prophets who preceded him.
O Allah! Make our master Muhammad, in terms of those who follow him, the prophet with the largest ummah and viziers, his light and rank superior to all prophets, his degree the highest of the prophets, and his station in Paradise the widest and most expansive.
O Allah! Make him among the foremost; his rank among those singled out; his station among those chosen from the pure servants; his place among those near to You in the station of the mukarabbun.
O Allah! Make our master Muhammad, in Your presence, of the most generous in rank, greatest in reward, closest in assembly to You, most firmly established in station, truest in speech, best in request granted, and most coveted among those near You. Lodge him where there is no rank above his, in the Firdaws palaces of the highest Gardens.
O Allah! Make our master Muhammad the most truthful in speech, the one whose request is most swiftly answered, the first to intercede—and whose intercession is accepted—so that when You choose to separate Your servants into the people of Paradise and the people of Hell, he will be the most truthful among those who speak, the most certain among those guided on the path, and the best of the doers of good among the prophets.
O Allah! Make our Prophet the pioneer who prepares means for his ummah after him, and make his Kawthar basin the meeting place for those of us who arrive early and late.
O Allah! Gather us in his community. Grant us to act by his Sunnah. Cause us to die upon his religion. Show us his radiant noble face. Include us among his community and followers.
O Allah! We believed in him without seeing him; reunite us with him. Until You bring us to his Kawthar basin and admit us wherever he enters, do not separate between us. Make us among those favored with Your blessings: the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and his righteous companions. What excellent companions they are. Praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
O Allah! Our master Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the light of guidance, the caller to good, the inviter to the happiness of both worlds, the Prophet of mercy, the Imam of the pious, after whom no prophet will come—the Messenger of Allah, Lord of the worlds. Our master Muhammad (peace be upon him) conveyed his message, counseled his servants, recited to them Your verses, established the prescribed penalties as legal measures for those who commit prohibitions, executed Your rulings, commanded obedience to You, forbade disobedience to You, allied with those You command be befriended, and opposed those You command be opposed. So send blessings upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! Upon the body of our master Muhammad among bodies, his spirit among spirits, his resting place among resting places, his blessed grave among graves, his remembrance when he is mentioned—send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad.
O Allah! Convey from us to him the greetings of peace, mercy and blessings, as befits Your exalted Essence.
O Allah! Upon the angels of nearness, upon Your prophets purified of all faults, upon the messengers sent with Your divine books, upon the bearers of the Throne, upon our masters Jibril, Mikail, Israfil, Azrail; upon Ridwan the gatekeeper of Paradise and Malik the gatekeeper of Hell; upon the noble recording angels to the right and left who record good and evil; upon all in heaven and earth who obey You—send blessings.
O Allah! Whatever You granted to any of the families of the messengers, grant even greater to the Household of Your Prophet. And whatever reward You gave to any companion of the messengers, reward the companions of our Prophet with something even more excellent.
O Allah! Forgive the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women, their dead and their living. “Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us in faith, and place not in our hearts any rancor toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind, Merciful.”
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad the Prophet, from the Hashimite line, and upon his family and companions. Send perfect peace upon them.
O Most Merciful of the merciful! With the blessing that pleases You and pleases him, and by which You will be pleased with us, send blessings upon the best of humanity—our master Muhammad.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad, his family and his companions, send abundant, beautiful, complete blessings and peace, rich with fragrance and blessings, that will endure as long as Allah’s dominion endures.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad and his household send blessings equal to the expanse of the cosmos, by the number of the stars in the sky, by the measure of all You have created until now and will create until the Day of Resurrection—send that blessing which maintains the balance of heaven and earth.
O Allah! As You sent blessings upon our master Abraham, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household. As You bestowed blessings upon our master Abraham and his household among all beings, bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household. Truly, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
O Allah! In my religion, worldly affairs and Hereafter I seek forgiveness from all sins, and safety from trials and sorrows.
O Allah! Cover our sins, faults and disobedience with Your exalted generosity. O Allah! Cover our sins, faults and disobedience with Your exalted generosity. O Allah! Cover our sins, faults and disobedience with Your exalted generosity.
O Allah! By Your supreme truth and the light of Your Beauty; by Your mighty Throne, by Your grandeur, majesty, beauty, power and strength; by the right of the Footstool bearing Your Throne; by the names in the treasures of secrets that none of creation knows—I ask You, O my Lord.
O Allah! By the name which, when placed upon the night, darkens it; when placed upon the day, brightens it; when placed upon the sky, holds it without pillars; when placed upon the earth, makes it firm; when placed upon the mountains, fixes them; when inscribed upon the seas and valleys, makes the waters surge and flow and fountains gush forth; and when placed upon the clouds, brings down rain—I ask You, O my Lord.
O Allah! By the names written on the forehead of our master Israfil (peace be upon him) and on the forehead of our master Jibril (peace be upon him), and by the names written upon the angels of the station of nearness, I ask You.
O Allah! By the names written around the Throne and written around the Footstool, I ask You.
O Allah! By the Supreme Name written upon the olive leaf, I ask You.
O Allah! By the exalted names with which You named Your Essence—those I know and those I do not know—I ask You.
