In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful. May Allah, the Exalted, send blessings and peace upon our Master Muhammad, his family and his companions. O Allah! By the rank that Your Prophet, our Master Muhammad (peace be upon him) has with You, by the love You have for him and he has for You, and by the secret between You and him, I ask You to send blessings and peace upon him, his family and his companions. Increase my love for him many times over. For his sake and his lofty stations, make me truly know him. Grant me success in following his way, living his manners and his sunnah. Grant me resolve in this. Honor me by allowing me to see the Messenger (peace be upon him). Gladden me by letting me converse with him. Remove difficulties, barriers, intermediaries and veils. Let my ears partake of his sweet address. Allow me to benefit from the knowledge and gnosis of the Messenger (peace be upon him), O Allah!... Make my prayers upon him a complete, pure, radiant light that erases every injustice, darkness, doubt, shirk, disbelief, falsehood and sin. Make that salat a cause for my purification. Through these blessings, raise me to the summit of the station of sincerity, so that no doubt remains in me that any worship is due to any besides You. Thus may I be worthy of Your presence and be joined among Your close friends. Grant that I do all this while always holding fast to the manners and sunnah of the Messenger (peace be upon him), seeking help from his noble person. O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest! O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest! O Allah! O Light! O Truth! O Manifest!
O Allah! By the names with which our master Adam (peace be upon him) called upon You, I present my plea. By the names with which our master Noah called upon You; our master Hud; our master Abraham; our master Salih; our master Yunus; our master Ayyub; our master Jacob; our master Joseph—(peace be upon them all)—I ask You.
By the names with which our master Moses called upon You; our master Aaron; our master Shu'ayb; our master Ishmael; our master David; our master Solomon; our master Zachariah; our master John; our master Jeremiah—(peace be upon them all)—I ask You.
By the names with which our master Shaya (peace be upon him) called upon You; our master Elias; our master Elisha; our master Dhu'l-Kifl; our master Joshua; our master Jesus; and by the names with which our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him, and upon all prophets and messengers) called upon You—O Allah, Lord of the worlds!—by the prophets and messengers I have mentioned, and by the names they used in their supplications to You, I ask You.
Before the sky was set, the earth spread, the mountains fixed, the seas roared, the springs gushed, the rivers flowed, the sun rose, the moon shone, and the stars sparkled—by the number of what You created—I ask You to send prayers upon Your Prophet, our master Muhammad. For You are as You are; none knows Your state but You. You are One without partner.
O Allah! By the number of Your forbearance, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of Your knowledge, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of Your inexhaustible words, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of Your favors, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the fullness of the heavens, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the fullness of the earth, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the fullness of Your Throne, and by its weight, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of what the Pen wrote in the Preserved Tablet of all that was and will be, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of what You created in the seven heavens, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. Each day until the Day of Resurrection, send a thousand blessings upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of raindrops falling from sky to earth, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of those who glorify You with Subhanallah, proclaim Your oneness with La ilaha illa Allah, declare Your greatness, and magnify You with “Glory be to my Lord the Magnificent,” send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! By the number of their breaths and utterances, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of every living soul You created among them, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad, by the number of moving clouds, send blessings. By the number of blowing winds, from the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, send a thousand blessings each day.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of all You created between earth and sky—and by the number of branches, leaves, trees and fruits moved by the wind—send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of stars in the sky, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! By the amount borne by the earth of things that point to Your power and might, send blessings upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! By the number of creatures You created in the seven seas—whose count only Your exalted Essence knows—and by what You will create until the Day of Resurrection, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! By the fullness of the seven seas, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the weight of what these seven seas carry that point to Your power, send blessings.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of the waves of the seas, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of grains of sand and pebbles in the depths, plains and mountains of the earth, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of waves of fresh and salty waters as they move and surge—by the number of every pebble, small stone and dry clod upon and within the earth, in the east and west, in plains, mountains and valleys, in every place built up or left in ruins—by that number, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of trees, fruits, leaves, crops and all blessed plants that emerge in the east, west, toward the qibla, in the plains, mountains and valleys of the earth, send a thousand blessings each day upon our Prophet Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of the jinn, humans and devils You have created and will create, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of hairs on their bodies, faces and heads, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, as long as birds beat their wings and jinn and devils fly, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of humans and jinn—large and small—created on two or four legs in the east and west of the earth whose number only Your exalted Essence knows, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of their footsteps upon the earth, send a thousand blessings each day upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! By the number of those who send blessings upon him, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of those who do not send blessings upon him, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of plants that grow and raindrops that fall, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. By the number of every existent thing, send blessings upon our master Muhammad.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad when night darkens and when day brightens, send blessings. In this world and the Hereafter, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. When he was a pure young man, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. In his maturity that pleased You, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. From the moment he was a child in the cradle, send blessings upon our master Muhammad. Send blessings upon him until nothing remains of the blessings that should be sent.
O Allah! Grant our master Muhammad the Praiseworthy Station You promised—the one You affirmed for him whenever he requested and whenever You granted all he asked.
O Allah! Make the path of our master Muhammad exalted, his proof noble, the evidences of his prophethood manifest, and his virtue clear to all creation.
O Allah! Accept his greatest intercession for his ummah. Grant us to act by his Sunnah. Cause us to live and die upon his religion. Gather us in his community and under his banner. Include us among his companions. Bring us to his Kawthar basin. Give us to drink from its cups of the Kawthar drink. Grant us the blessing of his love. (Here the reciter should mention their own name and their father’s name, e.g., “Ali son of Ahmed” or “Fatima daughter of Ahmed.”)
O Allah! By the names I have invoked and by the number of things known only to Your exalted Essence, I ask You to send blessings upon our master Muhammad, to have mercy on me, accept my repentance, rescue me from all material and spiritual afflictions, grant me well-being, and have mercy on all believing men and women, all Muslim men and women, their dead and their living. Accept the repentance of this weak, sinful servant and forgive him. O Allah, Lord of the worlds! Amin.
Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever recites this prayer once, Allah grants him the reward of an accepted Hajj and of freeing a slave from the descendants of Ishmael (peace be upon him).” And Allah says: “O My angels! This is a servant who has sent many blessings upon My beloved Muhammad (peace be upon him). By My might, My majesty, My existence, My worthiness of praise and My exaltedness, I will grant him, for every letter of his prayer, a palace in Paradise. His face will shine like the full moon on the fourteenth night. On the Day of Resurrection he will come under the Banner of Praise, and his hand will be in the hand of My beloved Muhammad (peace be upon him).” This virtue applies to whoever recites this prayer on Friday. Allah is the Possessor of great bounty.
O Allah! By Your might, power, majesty, honor and sovereignty; by what the Footstool bears; by the hidden Supreme Name with which You named Your Essence and placed within the Noble Qur'an, reserved for the unseen knowledge with You—I ask that You send blessings upon Your servant and messenger, our master Muhammad. O Allah! By the name with which, when You are called upon, You answer, and when You are asked, You give, I ask You.
O Allah! By Your name which, when placed upon the night, darkens it; when placed upon the day, brightens it; which holds up the sky without pillars; steadies the earth; fixes the mountains; subdues the strong and the tyrant; pours down water from the sky; and when placed upon the clouds, brings down rain—I ask You.
O Allah! By the name with which our Prophet Muhammad made supplication to You; by the name with which our Prophet Adam made supplication to You; by the names with which all prophets, messengers, and the angels of nearness—upon all of whom be Your prayers and peace—and all the people of obedience made supplication to You, I ask You.
Before the sky was built, the earth spread, the mountains fixed, the springs burst forth, the rivers flowed, the sun rose, the moon shone, and the stars glittered—by the number of what You created—I ask You to send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household by the number of what Your knowledge relates to; by the number relating to Your pardon; by the number of Your forbearance. By the number contained in the portion of the Preserved Tablet that pertains to Your exalted knowledge, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household by the number of the judgments written by the Pen in the Preserved Tablet—untouched by Satan or jinn and never altered—of all that was and will be. Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household by the fullness of the earth. Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household by the fullness of the heavens. Send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household by the number of what You will create from the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of the ranks of angels, their glorifications, sanctifications, praises, magnifications and proclamations of Your oneness, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of moving clouds and the ranks of blowing winds, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of raindrops that have fallen from Your heavens to the earth until now and that will fall until the Day of Resurrection, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the amount of wind that blows, by the number of movements of trees, leaves and crops, and by the number of seeds You created in their special protectives—by all seeds—send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of raindrops and plants, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of stars in the sky, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of creatures You created in the seven seas—known only to You—and by what You will create until the Day of Resurrection, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of pebbles and grains of sand in the east and west of the earth, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of jinn and humans You have created until now and will create until the Day of Resurrection, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of breaths, words and the moments of a blink among humans and jinn, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of flights of jinn and angels, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of birds in the east and west, of wild animals, and of even the small creatures that live on human, animal and insect bodies, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! By the number of the living and the dead, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of things night darkens and day illuminates, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of living creatures that walk on two or four legs, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his household.
O Allah! From the day You created the world until the Day of Resurrection, by the number of jinn, humans and angels who send blessings upon our master Muhammad, send blessings upon him.
O Allah! By the number of those who do not send blessings upon our master Muhammad, send blessings upon him.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad and his household, send the blessings that are due to be sent upon him.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad and his household, send the blessings that befit his rank.
O Allah! Upon our master Muhammad and his household, send all the blessings such that none of the blessings due to him remain unsent.
O Allah! Send blessings upon our master Muhammad among the prophets and all believers; among the believers, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous who came after his departure to the Hereafter; and upon him in the Highest Assembly—the station of the most exalted angels—until the Day of Resurrection. Allah’s will is done; there is no power or strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
